The HIV STATUS is a chromatographic immunoassay test for the qualitative detection of antibodies against HIV 1/2 in serum, plasma or whole blood.

This test is intended for professional use as an aid in the detection of antibodies against HIV 1/2. Three specially selected HIV recombinant proteins are used in testing (p24 and gp41 for HIV 1, gp36 for HIV 2). This enables the HIV STATUS to detect antibodies against HIV 1/2 in plasma, serum or whole blood specimens with a high degree of accuracy.
